Sugar gliders are living proof that big spirit can come in palm-sized packages. With skin flaps stretched like tiny parachutes, they leap and glide through the treetops of eastern and northern Australia (and Tassie’s offshore islands), covering up to 50 metres in a single swoop!

But it’s not all acrobatics — these nocturnal little legends are also incredibly social, cuddling up in tree hollows and communicating with chatty chirps and clicks.
